I’m a generalist by design, well versed in taking an incubated team’s vision and helping turn that into a living breathing entity, from identity through digital experience. I do this through the lens of utilizing critical race theory and data practices to create purposeful, functional design. My strength comes from my hands-on experience working with groups ranging from local community development corporations to large multinational social enterprises and non-profits, looking to make meaningful connections with communities.

Who Hires Me?
My clients are people who need a fresh perspective, whom are open to being critiqued with their work and research about the communities they want to engage with. Who are seeking a holistic thinker who understands the data life cycle of digital products or services, connecting their ecosystem to strategy that algins with their business model. They normally have good grasp of the audience they want to learn, research or plan from and need someone to develop a visual language around it in a thoughtful, strategic manner. I try not to get caught up in unnecessary process. I treat getting design or project to a place that feels ‘real’ and right.
About me?
I’m a Strategist, I started as an Analyst in marketing but my skills have evolved in digital design to doing a mix of everything from creating digital products and services. With a traditional design education degree and I have primarily infused behaviour patterns with predictive models with design principles to change people’s online behaviours and actions. Working with flexible teams, leading the design and development project cycles. I’ve worked on user experience across all digital initiatives and work closely with product and brand communication teams. Helping clients and organizations design, plan and execute ideas that allow them to be socially informed and authentic with their audience and users.
Why is this important?
As new versions of data and knowledge are produced across any number of touch-points, it’s hard for an organization to see or trace social blind spots and reproduce the logic applied to every piece of data that led to insight, decision, or design.
I look at and study the ways those tactics are being embedded into technology today and potentially into the future. So that clients can be flexible and creative with their work. Providing a compelling digital experience for those building a better way.
